Some car shoppers want safety. Others chase style or speed. But according to the Ancira Kia Sales Team’s (@210kiasales) viral TikTok, what really seals the deal is Apple CarPlay.
In the 14-second skit posted Aug. 29, a dealership representative asks what kind of car a shopper is looking for. Her answer? Just two words: “Apple CarPlay.” The rep explains every Kia comes with it standard, and without hesitation, she replies, “I’ll take it.”

What is Apple CarPlay?
Apple CarPlay is a way to project a streamlined, simplified version of your iPhone's interface onto your car's built-in display, allowing drivers to use apps like Maps and Music, make calls, and send messages with voice commands and easy screen interactions while driving. It turns the car's screen into a safer, more familiar interface, giving drivers access to apps and contacts without needing to hold their iPhone. It is available on iPhone 5 and later models running iOS 7.1 or later.
With over 800 car and motorcycle models that support Apple CarPlay, it’s easier than ever to find an electric vehicle that works with the software. So if Apple CarPlay is at the top of your wish list, these are the EVs that serve it up.
Audi e-tron
All of Audi’s all-electric e-tron models come equipped with Apple CarPlay. This includes the 2021-2023 e-tron Sportback, 2022-2024 e-tron GT, 2022-2024 Q4 e-tron and Q4 Sportback, and the 2023-2024 Q8 e-tron and Q8 Sportback.
Cadillac Lyriq
The all-electric Cadillac Lyriq offers Apple CarPlay, though its availability has changed over the years. It was included in the 2023-2024 U.S. models but removed from the 2025 lineup to highlight Cadillac’s Google-built system, though it remained available in markets like Australia and New Zealand. However, CarPlay is back for the updated 2026 Lyriq and Lyriq-V.
Chevy Electric Bolt
The Chevrolet Bolt features Apple CarPlay in the 2017-2023 Bolt EV and the 2022-2023 Bolt EUV models. While GM had discontinued the model at the end of 2023, the company is investing in three U.S. factories to kick off production of the next-generation 2027 Chevy Bolt later this year. However, CarPlay won’t be making the jump to the new Bolts, so don’t expect your next-gen ride to have it.
GMC Hummer EV
Models of the GMC Hummer EV from 2025 onward are affected by GM’s shift away from Apple CarPlay. The feature, however, remains available on the 2022-2024 Hummer EV Pickup and the 2024 Hummer EV SUV.
Honda Prologue
Honda’s first fully electric vehicle, the 2025 Prologue, is being hailed as the next step in the brand’s EV evolution, promising all the features you’d expect from Honda, including Apple CarPlay.

Looking for a Ford EV with Apple CarPlay? The Mustang Mach-E is your best bet, with all 2021-2025 models offering the feature.
