Thanks to its Abilearn Board feature, Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road allows players to both fine-tune their favorites and change the positions of players by customizing their attributes and Special Moves at will.
Before doing that, however, it’s vital to first understand how each of the latter affects your build. Here’s an overview of what each attribute does in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, as well as which you should prioritize when building your ideal GK, defenders, midfielders, and forwards, no matter the mode.

All Inazuma Eleven Victory Road Attributes, Explained

As you might notice after entering your team’s formation screen for the first time (or checking your characters in Story), Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road players have a total of seven stats, all represented within the graph in your player’s bio. You can check out an overview of what each attribute affects below:
- Kick: Boosts a player’s shooting by increasing Shot Attack (A total found by pairing your Kick and Control values) and Focus Battle Attack (A value found by pairing your Technique, Control, and Kick)
- Control: Represents your player’s ability to control the ball in both clear and tight situations, no matter the position. Its total affects Shot ATK (Shot AT) and Focus Battle ATK (Focus AT)
- Technique: Affects your player’s performance when in Focus Battles. In other words, it boosts both your Focus AT and DEF totals, as well as the power of your Focus SP Moves.
- Intelligence: Represents your player’s football IQ. Affects their success percentage while attacking or defending during Scrambles, as well as their Focus DEF.
- Pressure: Pressure affects your player’s scramble defense, as well as their Castle Wall DEF and KP (Keeper Power) totals. Also seen to affect your success rate when performing raw tackles.
- Physical: Affects your KP and Castle Wall DEF values.
- Agility: Affects your player’s reaction speed. It affects their KP and focus Defense values as well.
The Best Attributes For All Positions In Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road
As you can see in the icons found above each attribute in your player’s bio, Kick, Technique, and Control are widely considered to be the best stats for FW and offensive midfielders, while their frequent Castle Wall use and high Scramble likelihood make Technique, Control, and Intelligence the best picks for defenders. For a better look, here are the best attributes for each position in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, as well as which we recommend prioritizing:
- GK: Agility > Physical and Pressure
- DF: Pressure > Intelligence and Physical. Focusing on Agility might also not hurt, especially if you are playing with a three-defender formation.
- MF: Technique > Control and Intelligence when building an offensive midfielder (Investing in Kick can also not hurt when looking to chain SP moves from the wings) / Intelligence > Control and Technique when building a central one.
- FW: Kick > Technique and Control
How To Boost Your Player Attributes In Victory Road
Although leveling up your players will always boost their overall attributes, you can also get a substantial bonus via Training Beans and the right equipment pieces. While the latter can be acquired via the game’s Marketplace or as rewards, you can get beans by mainly completing matches/activities, as well as equip them by heading to your chosen player’s Abilearn Board after reaching level 15. Each player can equip up to three different bean types, with their limit also increasing based on their level. Each equipped bean boosts its matching stat by 1.

Keep in mind that you cannot reuse beans equipped to Legendary and Hero players. Removing your equipped beans before ascending your player to Legendary can also avoid bricking an expensive investment by mistake.
