What Everton star wrote about N'Golo Kante's Champions League final appearance

Everton forward Richarlison has paid tribute to the Champions League final performance of N'Golo Kante.

Kante delivered a man-of-the-match display against Manchester City in Porto last as the Stamford Bridge side became European champions for a second time.

Kai Havertz scored the only goal of the final, latching onto Mason Mount's through-ball just before half-time.

Thomas Tuchel's side boasted a number of players who produced highly impressive performances but Kante was voted as the best player on the pitch - and Richarlison seemingly agreed.

The Blues man took to social media to add his tribute to Kante's 'red hot' display in holding midfield for Chelsea.

Richarlison's former Everton team-mate Kurt Zouma was an unused Chelsea substitute in the final while former Blues defender John Stones played the full 90 minutes for City.
