The Tennessee Titans notched their second win of the preseason on Saturday night after dominating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 34-3, at Raymond James Stadium.
Of course, the Bucs did not deploy their starters in this game, but the fact that Tennessee, which only deployed some of its starters, was able to win so easily still makes the result an impressive one.
The Titans’ defense once again led the way and continues to be the story of the preseason. Adding to that, the offense was solid overall despite not having its biggest stars on the field.
Perhaps most importantly, some of the team’s young players really stepped up and improved their standing with the the 2021 regular season rapidly approaching.
After the game was over, two of the Titans’ biggest standouts, cornerback Elijah Molden and running back Mekhi Sargent, and head coach Mike Vrabel all shared their thoughts on the events of Saturday night.
