What Dundee debutants were doing one hour after facing St Mirren

It's hopefully the start of a long and illustrious career for Dundee debutants Finlay Robertson and Josh Mulligan.

The pair, both aged 16, played for the Dens Park club against St Mirren for their first taste of senior football.

Robertson was in from the start while Mulligan made an appearance from the bench but the club won't let it go to their heads.

Both players were back doing their jobs as members of the club's academy shortly after gracing the Dens Park surface.

A tweet from Dundee's academy showed them out cleaning boots, like they would any other day.

The duo were two of four academy youngsters in the squad for Saturday's 3-2 defeat to St Mirren.

James McPake managed the side for the first time and Robertson and Mulligan were joined by Lyall Cameron and Max Anderson who were left on the bench.

Dundee had already been relegated from the Premiership while St Mirren will face rivals Dundee United in the play-off.
