What does VIP get you at Parklife 2021?

By Rebecca Day

The party is in full swing at Parklife 2021 as thousands of revellers descend on Heaton Park for the two-day festival.

The VIP area has a new look this year - and has a gameshow theme.

A huge arch with the words 'Parklife Funhouse' sits in the centre of the VIP site, while the walls are spray-painted with quiz show hosts and audience members.

There's another quirky addition to the VIP area this year - with a tiny DJ space named the 'Smallest Club in The World'.

A street food village within the VIP area features woodfired pizzas, mexican street food, halloumi fries and wagyu burgers.

There's also food from city centre favourite South Manny Flavaz and Dutch fries from Chip'd.

When revellers aren't up dancing, there's plenty of space to lounge around on beanbags and cushioned picnic benches.

A whole host of exclusive drinks are on offer - from the small prosecco bar serving up fizz and Aperol Spritz, to the VIP bar featuring an array of cocktails on the menu.

The area also boasts 'luxury' toilets - meaning you don't have to queue up for ages for a run-of-the-mill portaloo.

People with a VIP ticket can access the site via the VIP gate, positioned between the North Gate and East Gate.

Sadly weekend, Saturday and Sunday VIP tickets are all sold out this year. VIP upgrade tickets are no longer available.
