What does the Cursed Skull do in PEAK?

The Cursed Skull in PEAK is one of the harder legendary items to find in your adventures, but you have to use it wisely to provide a powerful resurrection for your allies.

PEAK challenges you to climb the highest places by using the help of your friends and using different items to make the journey easier or harder based on your choices. There are various terrains for you to progress through, and eventually, you’ll succumb to your death and restart your climb. However, the Cursed Skull gives you the power to change that equation.

The Cursed Skull in PEAK lets you revive all nearby dead teammates in your session, but there is a catch. You also die in the process, which makes it a high-risk but high-reward strategy for the greater good of your teammates. In addition to respawning, your teammates get full health and stamina, along with all the negative effects on them getting removed to start a fresh run from that position.

You can get the Cursed Skull in the higher-tier luggage bags to make the ultimate sacrifice, where you put the hope on your fallen allies. However, your death doesn’t have to be the end of the world, as you can ask your teammates to revive you using the Altars, Effigies, and Temples.

That said, the item is also crashing games at the moment when you’d die immediately after using it, and your teammates wouldn’t spawn at all. The developer should be working on a fix, and it should work as intended soon. As the item is useful while playing with friends, it also isn’t available while climbing solo, as you just die permanently there.

Next up, you can read our guides to learn how many people can play the game together and all items in PEAK
