What does PFF think of the Vikings offense this year?

Minnesota retained the essential parts of its 2020 offense for this season. So far, the Vikings keeping a similar group has gone swimmingly.

So where does the Vikings offense stand among the rest of the league? According to PFF, the team’s offense is in tier two of the NFL. The outlet tabbed Minnesota as the No. 11 offense:

Sam Monson of PFF wrote:

“Kirk Cousins just continues to improve slowly but surely with each season, and he ranks third in PFF grade among quarterbacks through Week 6 this year. Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen are obviously elite playmakers, but the Vikings have been forced to use a third wide receiver more this season due to injuries. That may have been an issue in the past, but Cousins has a 118.2 passer rating when targeting K.J. Osborn this season, headlined by a walk-off score against Carolina this past week. Christian Darrisaw’s debut at left tackle has the potential to provide a significant upgrade there going forward, as he allowed just two pressures against an elite pass-rushing duo.”

Darrisaw and other rookies have the potential to see more reps during the rest of 2021.
