London selected its new mayor, Sadiq Khan, on 6 May. We’d like you to tell us how he’s fared 100 days in.
Commenter Remona Aly argued that Khan performed particularly well after Brexit and while David Cameron, Jeremy Corbyn and Nigel Farage hogged the headlines, he quietly got on with trying to promote tolerance and diversity.
Since the vote to leave the EU, Khan has drawn up a list of demands from the government to protect the capital. He’s told European citizens they are most welcome and launched a campaign to make it clear that the capital is open for business post-Brexit.
However, it hasn’t all been plain sailing and he has been accused of breaking a key election pledge after it emerged many Londoners would miss out on frozen travel fare, that applies only to single journeys.
So, what do you think? Has Khan lived up to expectations? Or exceeded them? Share your assessment of his first 100 days in office.
