What do you think about homeschooling and when should schools reopen? Let us know in our survey

On Wednesday Boris Johnson announced schools will not return until at least March 8.

Kids have yet to attend school this year due to the coronavirus pandemic - leaving parents having to tackle homeschooling.

With that in mind we're asking parents for your views on the issue and how you're coping with homeschooling.

Would you be happy to send your children back in as soon as they reopen?

Are you happy with the way your child's school is planning remote learning?

And how is this lockdown affecting your family's mental health?

So many families are having to work from home while also homeschooling - how are you finding this?

Let us know in the survey below or click here.

Schools are currently open to some pupils, including children of key workers.

Announcing that the schools will stay shut until at least March, the Prime Minister told the House of Commons the effects of vaccinations will have made it harder for Covid to spread to vulnerable people by that point.

He said: "We hope it will therefore be safe to begin the reopening of schools from Monday 8 March."

Mr Johnson said it would not be possible to reopen schools immediately after the February half term, which would have meant Monday February 22, despite earlier reports this is what the Government hoped to do.
