What did you think of Meghan and Harry's interview? Have your say on the bombshell chat

Mirror readers are being asked to tell us how they really feel about Harry and Meghan's controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The tell-all chat left many shocked as the Duke and Duchess revealed their side of why they stepped down from the royal family.

Chat show queen Oprah probed the pair and pushed them to reveal what went on inside the palace from when Meghan was introduced to the Queen to when the married new parents walked away.

Meghan relayed a conversation that Harry claims he had with an un-named family member who he says asked about their then unborn child's skin colour.

She also spoke of feeling suicidal and asking officials for help, but being told there was nothing that could be done.

The fall out from the two-hour bombshell interview hit headlines around the world and saw the Queen issue a statement saying she was 'saddened'.

A statement issued by Buckingham Palace on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen tonight said: "The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan.

"The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. Whilst some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.

"Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members."

A senior palace source added: "At the heart of all of this there is a family.

"They should be given the opportunity to discuss the issues raised privately, as a family."
