What date are the local elections in 2023?

Local elections will soon take place all across the country giving Brits the chance to have a say in their local government.

The 2023 local elections will see people have their vote in 231 different local authorities including district authorities, unitary authorities, and metropolitan districts. If you are not yet registered to vote in the local elections, you have until 11.59pm on Monday, April 17. If you miss this deadline, then you will be unable to have your say in who represents you in your local authority.
