What Curtis Jones did for young Liverpool fan at full-time of Arsenal draw

Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones helped put a smile on a young Liverpool fans face last night after their disappointing draw with Arsenal.

It was a below par night for Liverpool on the pitch, with Jurgen Klopp's men failing to capitalise on Arsenal going down to 10-men - going on to draw 0-0 in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final at Anfield.

And whilst many fans were unhappy for the performance on the pitch, a young Liverpool fan had his evening made by Jones.

Initially upset after not being allowed to keep a match bally, the 20-year-old stepped in to help.

Jones said on Twitter: "The kid got to stay behind in the stadium, received another ball and got a picture. All sorted. YNWA!"

A number of Liverpool fans had been pleased to see Jones' act of kindness towards the fan in what was a frustrating night.

Liverpool will face Brentford back at Anfield on Sunday before returning to the Emirates to play Arsenal in the second leg of the cup.
