What coronavirus quarantine patients are eating and drinking in quarantine

Quarantined Brits at Arrowe Park Hospital are being served a variety of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The rescued UK nationals were taken to the Wirral hospital in a convoy of six coaches, arriving shortly after 7.15pm on Friday.

They will spend the next 14 days in quarantine.

This morning patients were given boxed bacon alongside a selection of cereals for their breakfast.

Footage from inside the hospital shows patients being delivered Rice Krispies, Kellogs Corn Flakes, bananas, and bacon.

The bacon was given out in sealed takeaway boxes, whereas the cereals and fruits were in crates to cater for the 83 patients.

Last night, patients were also given a choice of drinks - they could have either Nescafe coffee or PG Tips tea.

This was revealed by a quarantined British patient who gave a tour of his living facility and shared their lifestyle.

He said: "Every single thing that we have asked for we get. There is an army of people here who are looking after us extremely well. They are running out and buying everything."

Prior to the Brits arrival, Arrowe Park received mass deliveries of electrical appliances.

This included fridges, TVs and washing machines.

Children also staying at the hospital have been given dolls, Xbox consoles and Playstations, which will occupy them during their two week stay.
