After Monday’s shambolic Champions League draw, Liverpool discovered they would be returning to the San Siro to take on Inter Milan in the round of 16.
Initially, the Reds were drawn against RB Salzburg, but after a redraw following an error by UEFA, it was Inter who will now stand in the way of the Reds and a quarter-final spot.
Liverpool made history in the Champions League this season after becoming the first English side to win all six of their group matches and are fancied as one of the favourites to win the competition.

And Watford boss Claudio Ranieri has spoken about the tie with Inter and has warned his compatriots that they cannot afford to make any mistakes against Jurgen Klopp ’s men.
“ Inter need to come at Anfield with no fear,” Rainieri, who managed Inter earlier in his career, told Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Nothing can be taken for granted, they are a custom-built team.
“ Liverpool are the strongest team in the Premier League, Inter will need intelligence and zero errors.”
Inter are the current champions of Italy and are leading Serie A once again but the Reds will fancy their chances after dispatching of AC Milan with ease in the group stage.
Ranieri also felt the wrath of Liverpool in his first game as Watford manager as they left Vicarage Road with all three points following a 5-0 win.
