Tottenham meet Real Madrid in the semi-final of the Audi Cup on Tuesday, as they aim to reach the final where they could face either Bayern Munich or Fenerbahce.
This is the second encounter between the two sides in the friendly competition, after Madrid prevailed as 2-0 victors in the 2015 fixture, where ex-Spurs star, and current Real wantaway, Gareth Bale scored to secure the win.
This is Spurs’ third game in 10 days, after a thrilling 3-2 win over Juventus , thanks to a Harry Kane ‘wonder goal’, and then 2-1 loss to Manchester United in China last Thursday.
Madrid come into this game on slightly worse terms after a 7-3 thrashing by Atletico Madrid, in which Atleti forward Diego Costa scored four goals and then received a red card.
Spurs will have fond memories of their most previous clash with Real - having beaten them during the 2017 Champions League.
