What channel is the UEFA Women's Champions League final? Kick-off time, live stream details and more

Two huge names in women's football, Lyon and Barcelona, will battle it out in Budapest for the coveted UEFA Women's Champions League trophy this Saturday.

Lyon are the current holders and will be looking to secure their fourth consecutive European triumph with an array of talent within their squad.

However, Barcelona will appear in their first Champions League final and will be looking to cause a major upset against their five-time winning opposition.

The French side are making their eighth appearance in the final, and will take a huge amount of experience into the match which is unchartered territory for Barcelona.

When is the match?

The game takes place this Saturday 18th May with kick-off scheduled for 17:00.

Where is the match being played?

The game will be held at the Groupama Arena, Budapest, Hungary which has a capacity of 22,000.

Tickets for the match are sold out.

Is the match on TV?

The game is being broadcast live on BT Sport Extra 3 HD with coverage starting at 16:45.

Lyon team news

The Lionesses are well represented at Lyon with former Manchester City duo Lucy Bronze and Izzy Christiansen now on the books. However, the latter continues to recover from injury and is battling to be fit for the World Cup.

The quality within their ranks includes Ballon d'Or winner, Ada Hegerberg , and the Norwegian will be looking to produce the goods in front of goal.

Barcelona team news

Another former City player who swapped Manchester for Europe is striker Toni Duggan , who will be keen to impress after being named in the Lionesses' World Cup squad.

Other bright sparks on Barca's books include Dutch international, Lieke Martens and native Spaniard, Marta Torrejon who will be looking to orchestrate the club's maiden European victory.
