What channel is the Scottish Cup Final? St Johnstone vs Hibs live stream, TV and kick off details

It's a massive day in the Scottish football calendar as the oldest national trophy in the world is up for grabs again.

It’s Scottish Cup Final weekend as Hampden gets set to host a showpiece event like to other.

The guarantee of group-stage football in European competition next season might no longer be an incentive but Hibernian and St Johnstone will still be as determined as ever to get their hands on that shimmering piece of silverware.

It had been expected that the winners at Hampden Park would go into the Europa League play-off round with the losers of that dropping into the group stage of the newly-formed Europa Conference League but UEFA appear to have moved the goalposts.

That is certainly a financial blow as it could potentially cost the winners up to £3 million in prize money but the prestige of winning the Scottish Cup and becoming legends for both sets of players remains a big enough incentive.

For St Johnstone, it's the chance to become the first club outside of the Old Firm to complete a domestic cup double in the same season since Aberdeen 31 years ago.

Callum Davidson has masterminded unbelievable cup form this season, but Hibs will be no pushovers.

For Jack Ross' side it's a chance to reclaim the trophy they won in 2016, it could now be going back to Easter Road for the second time in five years.

No matter the outcome at Hampden both sides have enjoyed success this season with St Johnstone winning the Betfred Cup and Jack Ross leading Hibs to a best of the rest finish.

But they are both hungry for more and victory at Hampden on Saturday would put the icing on the cake for either side.

So who will come out on top this weekend? Here's all you need to know about the fixture.
