Oxford and Cambridge take to the water for the annual rowing competition that will mark the 165th Boat Race in south-west London this Sunday.

There will be two races over the course of the afternoon with the women's race kicking off proceedings at 14:13 (BST), while the men's race begins at 15:10 (BST)

The teams are expected to be greeted by large crowds on the banks of the Thames, as they navigate a four mile course which runs from Putney to Mortlake.

Last year, Cambridge triumphed in both races. The men have an 83-80 advantage overall, while the women boast a healthier 43-30 lead going into Sunday's race.
