What channel is Rangers vs Alashkert? Live stream, TV and kick-off details for Europa League clash

Rangers are guaranteed group stage football in Europe for a fourth season running under Steven Gerrard.

But they still have to determine which competition that will be in as they aim to reach the Europa League.

The Light Blues face Armenian outfit Alashkert at Ibrox in the first leg of their play-off tie and are overwhelming favourites to progress.

They at least have the safety net of dropping into UEFA's new third tier competition if they fail but they won't even be contemplating defeat.

Alashkert were taken all the way to extra time by Welsh outfit Connah's Quay Nomads which is an indication of the level of Rangers opponents.

Gerrard will be hoping to take a healthy lead to Armenia with a mammoth trip just days before the first Old Firm derby of the season.

And he could maybe even afford to rest players for the second leg and spare them the gruelling journey to ensure they are fresh for the visit of Celtic on August 29.

When and where will the game take place?

The game takes place at Ibrox Stadium on Thursday, August 19 with a 8pm kick-off time.

What channel is it on?

The match will not be shown live on TV.

Will there be a live stream?

Yes. Rangers TV will provide live coverage of the match on pay-per-view.
