And Snakebite had to dig deep to see off upstart Callan Rydz as the 23-year-old Geordie took him to a deciding set on Saturday evening.
But both made it through and Scotland will now have a representative in Monday's final against either Michael Smith or James Wade.
World No.2 Wright is looking for his second title in three years while Anderson is looking for his third crown after back-to-back wins in 2015 and 2016.

James Wade vs Michael Smith was the first match tonight and that started at 7.30pm.
Smith was the 6-3 victor with the match finishing at around 9.30pm and he will face Scotland's representative.
Wright vs Anderson will now follow.
