Is there any early team news?

Captain Jamaal Lascelles could feature despite picking up an injury in the win over Leeds United, as he did manage minutes in a friendly held during the trip to Saudi Arabia.

Emil Krafth will also be hoping to be fit having trained during the mid-season trip to the Middle East, although the club have not confirmed his availability.

Joelinton's injury is reportedly not believed to be serious but there is less cause for optimism regarding sidelined marksman Callum Wilson, who looks set to be absent once again as he was ruled out for eight weeks in early January.
