What channel is Man Utd vs Leipzig? Kick-off time, TV and live stream details

Manchester United’s stuttering start to the season continued on Sunday with a drab, goalless draw at home to Chelsea.

Recent away wins at Newcastle and PSG had led to hopes Utd were turning a corner, after two humblings at Old Trafford before the international break.

However, they are still looking for their first home win of the season following Saturday’s 0-0 result.

Their German opponents are currently top of the Bundesliga having won five out of six league games so far this season, and beat İstanbul Başakşehir at home in their opening Champions League match.

What time is Man Utd vs RB Leipzig?

It’s an 8pm kick-off at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.

By the time Man Utd and RB Leipzig start playing, their Group H rivals - İstanbul Başakşehir and PSG - will have finished their match in the Turkish capital.

The standout fixture of Wednesday night is another 8pm kick-off, and sees Lionel Messi’s Barcelona make the trip to Turin to play Juventus.

Man Utd vs RB Leipzig odds

United's group stage home record against teams drawn from Pot 3 or 4 in the Champions League is superb. Since Alex Ferguson's departure in 2013 it reads: won seven, drawn one, lost none and five clean sheets.

But here's the rub. RB Leipzig are not your average Pot 3 or 4 side.

Last season's semi-finalists have lost just one of their previous nine assignments in this competition (W6, D2, L1) and have won six out of seven matches this season, the only blot a 1-1 draw at Bayer Leverkusen.

United are favourites with thepools.com at 5/4 , but 21/10 for the away win looks very generous.

Maybe the bookies looked at a calendar.

United have lost just one of their last 11 Champions League home games played in the month of October! (W8, D2, L1 - GF 17, GA 3)!
