Manchester City enter the weekend's Premier League fixtures atop the table. Pep Guardiola's team have been in fine form of late, reeling off five wins in a row - seven wins in eight - and moving ahead of Chelsea after their slip-up against West Ham.
Liverpool, meanwhile, moved into second with a last-gasp win over the very team City now welcome to the Etihad, Wolves, while Chelsea are only two points behind in third.
It sets up for a tantalising title race, one which City will be relishing given they have won three of the last four league titles, many of which have been fiercely competed with Liverpool for.
It also means every match is vital, with any dropped points severely punished, so City cannot afford to relax ahead of a tricky home match against an improving Wolves team.

What is the early Man City vs Wolves team news?
City and Guardiola are dealing with too many injuries now that Kevin de Bruyne has returned to action. He made his first start following his Covid-19 run-in against RB Leipzig on Tuesday and will be in contention to feature again against Wolves, though Guardiola may take a more measured approach with the 30-year-old.
The only key absentee will be Ferran Torres, who is set to be on the sidelines until the new year, although Phil Foden and Ilkay Gundogan picked up knocks in the weekend's win over Watford. It remains to be seen whether they will be available for selection.
For Wolves, the situation is a little bleaker. While they welcomed Ruben Neves and Daniel Podence back from suspension and Covid-19 isolation respectively against Liverpool, Bruno Lage's is dealing with a deluge of injury problems, especially defensively.
Marcal entered the Covid protocol prior to the Liverpool defeat, Jonny remains out with a cruciate ligament injury, while centre-backs Yerson Mosquera and Willy Boly are also currently sidelined.
Moreover, after the Liverpool loss, Lage admitted that Conor Coady has been dealing with an ankle injury - he was down for some time in the first half, clutching his ankle. He has been playing through the injury and finished the match, but his status remains up in the air, and even if he plays, he likely won't be fully fit.
Pedro Neto is also out with a knee injury and is not expected to return until January.
