What channel is Man City vs Real Madrid? Kick-off time, TV and live stream information

Nearly six months after victory in the Bernabeu, Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City finally play the second leg of their last 16 Champions League tie against Real Madrid on Friday night.

The Sky Blues hold the advantage against the newly-crowned La Liga champions, winning the first leg 2-1 thanks to late goals from Gabriel Jesus and Kevin De Bruyne.

Zinedine Zidane will also be without defender and captain Sergio Ramos, who was sent off during Real’s defeat.

Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch the match, as Man City continue their quest for a first Champions League trophy.

Kick-off will be at 8pm on Friday, with the match being played in an empty Etihad Stadium.

The winner of the tie will play Juventus of Lyon in a one-leg quarter-final in Lisbon, as UEFA pushes to complete this year’s Champions League before the start of the 2020/21 season.

The French side go to Turin with a 1-0 advantage, with the second leg also kicking off at 8pm.

The two sides that progress will then play in a one-leg quarter-final on Saturday August 15.

One thing that hasn’t changed is the broadcaster for Champions League matches.

BT will be showing the game on BT Sport 1, with coverage beginning at 7pm.

The match is not on free-to-air TV, so fans will need to pay. Those who do, can stream it through the BT Sport app.

Fans wanting to keep an eye on Juventus vs Lyon can follow the action on BT Sport 2 from 7.30pm.

It's almost three weeks since Real last kicked a ball in anger - when they drew 2-2 with Leganes having already clinched the La Liga title.

City put five past Norwich a week later - and are odds on 4/6 favourites to win at the Etihad, with the draw and a Real Madrid victory both 10/3.

But trailing 2-1 from March's first leg Real need to score and will attack, which means both teams to score is another short price with thepools.com at 1/2.

However, Real shipped goals in each of their last three matches, City showed their superiority in Spain last March so a City win and Both Teams To Score is a stand-out 9/5 with thepools.com.

Last time out there were three yellow cards and a red, so even with nailed on yellow card merchant Sergi Ramos suspended, BTTS and 5 or more bookings is an attractive 6/4.
