What channel is Man City vs Liverpool? Kick-off time, TV and live stream details

The biggest game of the season so far sees champions Liverpool go to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

Despite going into the weekend top of the table, Jurgen Klopp’s side have one of the leakiest defences in the league having let in 15 goals, with only West Brom conceding more in their opening seven fixtures.

However they have scored 17 of their own, and go up against a Sky Blues team that have only managed nine goals in their opening six Premier League games.

Last season Man City walloped Liverpool 4-0 straight after giving them a guard of honour in the Reds’ first match as Premier League champions.

Kick-off at the Etihad is at 4.30pm on Sunday.

A draw or Man City win could cause Liverpool to lose their grip on top spot, with Leicester and Tottenham Hotspur - just one and two points behind respectively - playing earlier in the day.

The Foxes host Wolves at 2pm while Spurs go to West Brom in the day’s lunchtime fixture at 12pm.

Sky Sports will be the destination for any fans wanting to watch Sunday’s headline fixture.

Coverage of the Super Sunday fixture will start at 4pm on Sky Sports’ Main Event and Premier League channels, straight after Leicester vs Wolves.

Those with subscriptions can stream the game through their Sky or NOW TV apps.

Man City vs Liverpool odds

It's the first truly genuine Super Sunday showdown of the season - and while five points separate leaders Liverpool from title rivals City, that could be down to two, with a game in hand, if City can justify odds of Evens with thepools.com to triumph.

Liverpool were inspired in Italy in midweek and are 12/5 to win again and 3/1 to even draw.

But the continued absence of Virgil van Dijk and Fabinho will surely be felt sooner rather than later.

Diogo Jota has now scored in four successive matches and is too big at 13/2 to score the first goal and 9/5 at any time.
