Liverpool team news

Virgil van Dijk missed the semi-final victory due to illness, forcing Jordan Henderson to play alongside Liverpool’s one fit centre-back Joe Gomez.

Klopp will hope for Van Dijk’s return on Saturday, but the Dutch defender could miss out once again.

Georginio Wijnaldum also missed the Monterrey game as he recovers from a hamstring injury he picked up last weekend, but has not been ruled out of the final.

Former Chelsea full-back Filipe Luis and ex-Bayern Munich defender Rafinha are familiar faces for Jorge Jesus’ side.

Everton Ribeiro and Giorgian De Arrascaeta are also players to watch in Flamengo’s midfield.
