What channel is Liverpool vs Atletico Madrid on? TV, live stream details and team news

It's been plain sailing for Liverpool in the Champions League so far this season and the Reds will be looking to continue their perfect record in the tournament against Atletico Madrid tonight.

Jurgen Klopp 's side won a thrilling encounter between the two sides at the Wanda Metropolitano in their previous meeting, as Mohamed Salah 's late penalty decided the match 3-2 in Liverpool 's favour.

Atletico recovered from two goals down in that game to get back on level terms, although they will be without their vociferous home support on this occasion, as well as Antoine Griezmann, who was issued a red card for a high challenge on Roberto Firmino.

After also letting a two-goal lead slip against Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League at the weekend too, Klopp will be wary of any complacency settling into his squad ahead of a crucial run of games. Getting qualification for the knockout stages boxed off would give him more freedom to rotate the squad in the coming weeks too.

Here are the key viewing details for the match at Anfield and a look at the latest team news for both outfits:

Team news

Klopp had mixed team news on Tuesday for Liverpool.

It was confirmed both Fabinho and Thiago Alcantara could make their respective comebacks from injury. However, the Reds will be without Naby Keita after it was revealed he has suffered a hamstring issue.

James Milner and Harvey Elliott are also still unavailable.

As for the opposition, Griezmann is suspended and that may mean Luis Suarez starts against his former club, having been left on the bench for the Madrid meeting.

Atletico will be without key midfielders Marcos Llorente and Thomas Lemar, as they are both nursing muscle problems.
