Jurgen Klopp's side came within a single point of ending their long wait for another Premier League title last season after losing an epic battle with Manchester City.
They gained compensation with another Champions League triumph but have had a very quiet summer in the transfer window.
The Reds though have kept all their star names and are hot favourites to get their season off to a winning start this evening.
