What channel is Liverpool Legends vs AC Milan on? TV and live stream information

There will be plenty of memories of a certain game in May 2005 at Anfield this Saturday.

A group of Liverpool legends reconvene to take on some of the greatest players ever to play for AC Milan in a charity match.

The game is set to be a popular event for both Liverpool and Milan fans around the world, in a rematch of the Champions League final which the English side won on penalties despite being 3-0 down at half-time.

Here’s everything you need to know about the match this weekend…

When is the game?

The match will take place on Saturday 23rd March, with kick-off at 3pm.

Where is the game being held?

The game is being played at Anfield Stadium, Liverpool. The stadium’s capacity is a little over 54,000 seats, and tickets are still on sale for the match.

What TV channel is the game on?

The match will be broadcast on Liverpool’s official TV channel, LFC TV. Coverage will start at 2pm.

Can you live stream the game?

Liverpool Legends team news

The Liverpool Legends squad will include eight players who took part in the 2005 Champions League final in Istanbul.

Former Liverpool captain and vice-captain Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher will don the Liverpool red once again, alongside fellow European champions Jerzy Dudek, Sami Hyppia, Djimi Traore, Luis Garcia, Vladimir Smicer and Djibril Cisse.

They will be joined by former Liverpool players Daniel Agger, Glen Johnson, Steve McManaman, Robbie Fowler, Dirk Kuyt, Michael Owen, Ian Rush, amongst many others.

Milan Glorie team news

While Milan haven’t officially announced their squad yet, several famous faces have confirmed that they will be involved in the charity event.

These names include scorer of Milan’s first goal in Istanbul, alongside fellow teammates on that famous day Andrea Pirlo, Kaka, Dida, Gennaro Gattuso and Massimo Ambrosini.

It has also been confirmed that Christian Abbiati, Alessandro Costacurta, Massimo Oddo and Serginho will also play some part in the match.
