Kilmarnock and Rangers could be forgiven for being sick of the sight of each other even if the Premiership season has yet to get underway.
The rivals lock horns again on Sunday as the curtain goes up on the new league campaign and it's fair to say these two know each other pretty well, even if Kilmarnock are under new management.
The say familiarity breeds contempt and there was certainly a fair bit of needle as Steven Gerrard's side went head-to-head with Steve Clarke's on no less than SEVEN occasions last season.
That culminated in the final day victory for Killie at Rugby Park which clinched an all-too-brief foray into Europe for the Ayrshiremen.
But Clarke is gone and Killie are entering a new era under Angelo Alessio. It's not got off to the best of starts given their flop to Welsh minnows Connah's Quay in Europa League qualifying.
So much to prove even at this early stage for both sides. For Rangers it's all about making a strong start as they look to stop Celtic hitting 9 in a row.
