More4 is to broadcast a season of programmes this autumn marking the 25th anniversary of the launch of Channel 4, including repeats of some of the broadcaster's best - and worst - shows and moments. What should be included?
I remember P'Tang Yang Yipperbang fondly from Channel 4's very early days. And the ident, of course.
But thinking back, I don't think I watched Channel 4 that much in the 80s, when we're told it was at its anarchic and uneven best - and worst. Apart from The Tube, and some of the FilmFour output, which I think used to be shown on TV in seasons - stuff like No Surrender, Wetherby, Billy the Kid and the Green Baize Vampire.
From more recent output, I'd like another chance to see some of the Channel 4 comedies that don't seem to get repeated these days - Vic Reeves Big Night Out, The Adam and Joe Show, Spaced, Garth Marenghi's Dark Place.
