What Cesar Azpilicueta did when Tammy Abraham tried to take Chelsea's penalty ahead of Jorginho

Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta was forced to step in as Tammy Abraham attempted to take the Blues' second penalty against Crystal Palace.

The Blues were already leading 3-0 at the time, after usual penalty taker Jorginho had already scored his first spot kick of the afternoon.

Frank Lampard's men were soon after awarded their second penalty of the game after Kai Havertz was tripped by Mamadou Sakho.

But Abraham attempted to wrestle the ball from the Italy international as he looked to open his account for the afternoon against Roy Hodgson's side.

Despite the England striker's protestations, Blues skipper Azpilicueta was on the scene to defuse the situation and hand Jorginho the ball - who calmly slotted his second penalty of the match.

The goal sealed a comfortable 4-0 win for Chelsea, who moved up to fourth in the Premier League table.

After a goalless first half, Ben Chilwell - who was making his Premier League debut after recovering from injury - put his side into the lead after smashing in at the back post.

Chilwell then turned creator after his cross was headed past Vicente Guaita by Kurt Zouma.
