Neil Harris will now have an exciting crop of attacking players to choose from after a fruitful last day in the transfer window.
Most notably, of course, Cardiff City agreed a deal to bring Liverpool and Wales winger Harry Wilson to the Welsh capital on a season-long loan deal.
It is quite rightly a transfer which will cause excitement among the fan base, but Harris, too, will be thrilled to be able to select him in his team.
It now begs the question, of course, what does Cardiff City's best team look like now the transfer window has finally closed?
Well, between the sticks there is quite clearly only one man to fill that berth: Alex Smithies, a top player who has endeared himself to City fans with a string of excellent performances over the last 12 months or so.
The best defence includes new right back Jordi Osei-Tutu, who has been promising since joining on loan from Arsenal at the beginning of the window.
Sean Morrison and Curtis Nelson have struck up an excellent partnership at the heart of the defence, so expect them to keep their places.
Left-back Joe Bennett, who was linked with a move to Watford during the window, is still nailed-on Cardiff City's best player in that position, having returned to his best form in recent months.
The two deep-lying midfielders, in best form, would probably be Joe Ralls and Leandro Bacuna. Two players who can hit both boxes, have terrific engines and impact the game at both ends of the pitch.
Then we come to the three players in behind the striker and a potentially explosive attacking line-up.
The two wing berths will likely be filled by new-boy Wilson and, if on form, Josh Murphy: two players who can be truly devastating on their day. Another Liverpool loanee, Sheyi Ojo, will be nipping at their heels, though, and will be desperate for game time as well.
They will flank Lee Tomlin, who many will hope can regain his top fitness and form over the coming weeks to form a crucial cog in that attacking wheel.
And those three will line up behind £2m summer signing Kieffer Moore, the Wales international who has impressed during his short stay at the club so far.
