What Cardiff City, Charlton and Millwall fans are saying about Neil Harris and Lee Bowyer as Bluebirds supporters give verdict

Cardiff City fans have had their say on reports that Neil Harris or Lee Bowyer will be the man to replace Neil Warnock .

WalesOnline understands that the Bluebirds' hierarchy have whittled their shortlist  and are hopeful of making an appointment in the next 72 hours.

This comes after Warnock departed  Cardiff  yesterday after a meeting with the club's owners.

It was agreed the two would part company by mutual consent, despite Warnock's initial plans to retire at the end of the season.

It's been a mixed start for Cardiff this season, who lie seven points adrift of the Championship's top six in 14th place.

Sunday's home defeat to Bristol City proved to be Warnock's last game in charge after just over three years at the club.

Out-of-work manager Harris is understood to be one of the main candidates to succeed Warnock, having left Millwall earlier in the season.

The former Lions striker spent four years in charge at The Den, leading them back into the Championship and consolidating them in the second tier.

Bowyer, by contrast, has been courted for a number of Championship jobs after impressing in his time at Charlton.

The ex-Leeds United man led the Addicks to promotion from the League One through the play-offs last season and after a summer of turbulence, has guided them to 11th place after 16 Championship games.

Losing Bowyer would prove a massive blow, given the way he has galvanised a previously devised club.

With that in mind, here's a round-up of what Cardiff City, Millwall and Charlton Athletic fans are all saying about the Bluebirds' next potential managerial appointment.
