Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has hailed the "fantastic job" Mauricio Pochettino has done at Tottenham ahead of facing Spurs this weekend.
The Foxes host Tottenham at the King Power Stadium on Saturday, with the two sides level on eight points after five games and only separated by goal difference.
But Rodgers has been full of praise for the job his opposite number has done in north London over the past few years, having guided Spurs to the Champions League final last season, where they lost out against Liverpool in Madrid.
And although Tottenham are yet to win a trophy during Pochettino's time in charge, Rodgers believes that is not the be-all and end-all when it comes to how the Argentine should be judged on his spell at Spurs.
“You’ve just got to continue to look to improve, not everyone can win a trophy," Rodgers said, speaking at his pre-match press conference.
"But if you look at the job he’s done, it’s remarkable. To sustain that over the last few years, with Champions League football, it’s been a fantastic job.
"He [Mauricio Pochettino] is a very talented coach and I think he’s done a brilliant job there. What he has done at the club is exceptional. Tottenham have their strengths, but we’ll try and impose on them in our own way."
Meanwhile, Rodgers insists that his players will be ready to face a Spurs side going into the game off the back of a midweek clash with Olympiacos in Greece, where Tottenham threw away a two-goal lead to draw 2-2.
"It’s not easy, with all the travelling and the games, but they will bring a very, very top team," he said.
"They have robust players, a good squad, where they can interchange and swap players, but we’ve had a great week’s training. We’ll finish our preparation off tomorrow and we’ll be ready."
