What Boxing Day Premier League football is on today? Kick-off times and TV channel details

There’s nothing quite like a feast of football on Boxing Day.

Watching the goals fly in while full on turkey sandwiches and selection box chocolates is a festive tradition in itself.

But what top flight games are available on TV this year?

Unfortunately, there isn’t a host of matches available on the box this Boxing Day.

Three televised games were scheduled.

However, BT Sport’s early game - Liverpool v Leeds - has been called off after a Covid outbreak in the Leeds camp. Wolves v Watford and Burnley v Everton were also postponed.

Which Boxing Day Premier League football matches are on TV?

Two games are being broadcast on Sky Sports, with one on BT Sport.

Tottenham v Crystal Palace

This one kicks off at 3pm, and fans will be able to follow the action live via BT Sport 1. Coverage begins at 2.30pm.

Aston Villa v Chelsea

First up, Aston Villa v Chelsea (kick-off: 5.30pm ) will be available to watch on Sky Sports Main Event.

Brighton v Brentford

Following that, Brighton v Brentford (kick-off: 8pm) will also be on Sky Sports Main Event.

What other Premier League matches are being played on Boxing Day?

The following three matches are taking place but will not be televised. Each game kicks off at 3pm.

  • West Ham v Southampton
  • Norwich v Arsenal
  • Manchester City v Leicester City

In previous years, Amazon Prime has shown all of the Boxing Day matches through their streaming service. However, that’s not the case this year, with their series of live matches being the Premier League fixtures between December 28 and 30.
