What Bill Belichick told the Patriots in the locker room after beating the Bills

Here’s what Bill Belichick told the New England Patriots in Buffalo after they defeated the Bills, 16-10, in Week 4.

“OK fellas, just what we thought it would be,” Belichick told the team, via a video from Patriots.com. “Mental and physical toughness. That is the way to stick it out and grind it out, now. It is never easy here. That’s the way to stick in here and grind it out. Look, we have to learn some lessons here. Overall, just a little bit better execution, but we had some critical situations and got a couple of big plays on defense. Good job fellas.

“Blocked punt there, way to step up there, J.C. (Jackson). Good team win. All three groups contributed. Alright, got do a good job and continue to play complementary football and on the road down there in Washington this week. Congrats, men. Congrats.”
