What Bill Belichick told the Patriots in locker room after beating Bills

Bill Belichick was smiling as he hugged his son Steve, the defensive play-caller, after the New England Patriots broke up quarterback Josh Allen’s final pass of the game. The Patriots had a win in hand in frigid, snowy and insaely windy conditions on Monday night.

You don’t often see Belichick emote like that outside the Super Bowl. But he had that same smile in the locker room when he addressed his players. Here’s what Belichick told the Patriots after beating the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium in Week 13.

“Just two quick things from me and then I’m going to turn it over to our orator (Matt Slater). That’s why we practice in this (expletive),” Belichick said.

What a line from Belichick.
