What Bernd Leno, Emiliano Martinez and other Arsenal goalkeepers do during Gunners' training

Arsenal goalkeeping coach Inaki Cana has shored an insight into the training that the Gunners goalkeepers do during training sessions at London Colony.

The outbreak of coronavirus means that Arsenal have a while to wait before they are back in action, with current plans meaning that action will resume with the Gunners hosting Norwich City on April 4th.

Following the confirmation on Friday that Mikel Arteta had tested positive for the virus, a period of a fortnight of self-isolation started for all squad and staff members who came into contact with the head coach.

That means it is up to the players to use the time to keep themselves in the best condition.

Each member of Arteta's squad has been provided with a personal fitness plan for the period of isolation.

That will include the goalkeepers, but what do they usually get up to when on the training pitch?

Now, Cana has posted a video on social media that shows some of the exercises undertaken by first-team members Bernd Leno, Emiliano Martinez, Matt Macey and Karl Hein.

The video shows the quartet undergoing a number of goalkeeping based activities in order to help to hone their sharpness, agility and positioning ahead of a match day.

Leno, who is first choice at the Emirates Stadium, has seven clean sheets in 28 league games so far this season, including three in his last four Premier League games.
