Aston Villa came from behind to take the advantage in their Champions play-off semi-final with rivals West Brom on Saturday, winning 2-1.
If they fail to secure promotion to the Premier League, Grealish's future will once again come under the microscope.
And any talk of a potential move to a Premier League club intensifies when teammates talk him up in such esteem.
Grealish laid the ball on a plate for Conor Hourihane to hammer home the equaliser against the Baggies at Villa Park on Saturday.

And after the game Hourihane was asked about Grealish.
He said: "Jack's the best player in the league in my opinion, he's got so much quality, he's probably too good for the league, he does that every week for us, he's fantastic."
