Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has issued support to Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino, as the pressure continues to grow on the under-fire boss.
Spurs suffered a humiliating 7-2 defeat in the Champions League at home to Bayern Munich last week, which was followed by a 3-0 loss at the hands of Brighton in the Premier League.
As a result, questions about Pochettino's future have been raised heading into the international break but Wenger has backed his former rival, heaping praise upon the Argentine boss.
"I like him very much because he’s always been quiet, respectful, motivated and worked very well, got a lot of recognition from a lot of his players so that means he is a good manager," he told BeIN Sports.
"For me, when I played them two or three years ago, they looked like a young, hungry team, who had found good strength, a good core of the team with people who are growing together inside the club and players from the outside who are vital, like Eriksen.
"Today, I don’t feel exactly the same chemistry and a player like Eriksen is sidelined because it looks like he doesn’t want to commit to the future of the club.

"Modern life is down to small margins and, at the moment, these small margins are not in their favour.
"Will they get that back?
"Because if you look at Tottenham in the Premier League, they lost 13 games last year but they did extremely well in the Champions League and they were close to winning it.
"But your real quality is always where you finish in the championship, the real trend is there."
