What Arsenal wonderkid Folarin Balogun did on Instagram after Mikel Arteta's contract update

It's a case of one Arsenal wonderkid ending speculation regarding his future, whilst fans await news about another.

On Wednesday afternoon it was announced that Bukayo Saka has put pen-to-paper on a new contract at the Emirates Stadium, as a reward for his progress in the first-team team this season.

But is the teenager the catalyst to more contract extensions in the coming weeks?

Gunners supporters will hope that is the case as captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's deal expires at the end of next season, leaving the club with a huge decision to make ahead of the summer transfer window.

Another player out of contract in the summer of 2021 is youngster Folarin Balogun as according to the Athletic's David Ornstein, the teenager will be sold this summer as the club look to avoid losing him for nothing next year.

With that said, Gunners head coach Mikel Arteta was in a relaxed mood when asked about the futures of his Arsenal players.

"I am not worried because I know that the club is doing their best to try to keep them [Bukayo and Folarin Balogun]," Arteta said ahead of his side's win over Norwich. "Hopefully we can have some good news about them very soon.

"They know my opinion on them and how much I like working on them, the intention that I have in the future with them.

"I see them really committed and hopefully we can find the right agreement for both parties and move on, because I think there's a great future ahead of us with these kids."

Arteta was spot on in regards to having some good news regarding Saka, but it remains to be seen if Balogun will follow suit.

And following those comments as well as the Saka announcement, Balogun took to social media with a message of support for his teammates ahead of their 4-0 win over the Canaries.

As seen in the image above, Balogun commented on the Gunners' confirmed team news by replying with 'COYG (Come on You Gunners) with a raised and clapping hands emoji.

Is he next in line to make his senior debut under Arteta?
