What Arsenal's Adidas kit leak means for Leeds United's 2020/21 design

The new Arsenal kit appears to have been leaked and it might just provide clues to the design of the next Leeds United strip.

Next season, German sportswear giants Adidas are expected to take over from Kappa as United's kit supplier.

The move has caused plenty of excitement among Leeds fans, but if there is one thing we know about the biggest sportswear companies, it's that teams are very rarely blessed with a totally unique design.

Often, Adidas use the same designs as a template for other clubs, and to that end, any early glimpse of another team's Adidas kit for next season could provide clues to the next Leeds kit design.

An apparent leak of the next Arsenal home kit has been doing the rounds on social media.

And it's a rather nice effort with a two-tone gradient across the front, a round-neck white collar with a red and blue stripe at the bottom of the white sleeves.

It has the famous Adidas stripes under the Arsenal cannon logo at the base of the neck on the back.

Of course, Leeds' home kit will be mostly white, so anything more than a subtle off-white two-tone gradient is unlikely.

Fans may be hoping to see plenty of imagination with colours and design for the away kit.

This design might just get supporters excited, but Arsenal fans do seem to have some concerns about the collar.
