What Arsenal legend David Seaman said that sums up how fans are feeling after Chelsea defeat

It was another night to forget for Arsenal last night (Wednesday) as the Gunners tasted defeat in the Europa League final against Chelsea.

The Gunners were well beaten by the Blues in Baku, with goals from former Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud, Pedro and two from Eden Hazard helping Chelsea to a 4-1 win at the Olympic Stadium in Azerbaijan.

That was despite substitute Alex Iwobi giving Unai Emery's men some hope with a stunning strike from outside the box to reduce the deficit to 3-1 soon after he had been introduced.

But Chelsea produced a fine second half performance to run away with the game, with Arsenal's defence once again coming in for criticism from one former Gunner, Lee Dixon.

He made the claim that even Liverpool defender - and PFA player of the year - Virgil van Dijk would not make much difference to the Gunners' defence at the moment as he delivered a damning verdict on his old side's mentality.

And that is a view that is seemingly shared by his former Arsenal team-mate David Seaman, who took to social media to react to the 4-1 defeat in Azerbaijan.

He said: "Still in shock about that second half, so disappointing!! Same old, same old. #feelforthefans
