What Arsenal fans chanted at Josh Kroenke while he attended their clash with Brighton

Arsenal fans have made their feelings known to Josh Kroenke after the American attended their game against Brighton.

The Gunners owner was present for their final Premier League fixture of the season and could be seen sat alongside chief executive Vinai Venkatesham and non-executive director Tim Lewis.

He and his father Stan Kroenke have come under intense scrutiny in their ownership of the club since their decision to sign up to the European Super League.

And now after returning to the Emirates for the first time since December, the 10,000 Arsenal fans have made their feelings about their American owners well known.

Early in the game Gooners around the stadium could be heard chanting: "We hate Kroenke!"

The chant was relatively brief and lasted for around 30 seconds or so before focus turned back to supporting the players in their attempts to beat Brighton and secure qualification for the Europa Conference League.

Chants of "We want Kroenke Out" could also be heard booming around the stadium in the second half, while balloons which read "#KroenkeOut" were thrown on the pitch.

The chants come after 100 or so supporters gathered outside the Emirates before Sunday's match to protest against KSE.

A billboard that read "#KroenkeOut, #FansIn" was also unveiled by the Arsenal Supporters Trust opposite the stadium earlier on Sunday afternoon.

The Kroenkes' reputation with fans is perhaps at an all-time low after the European Super League fiasco last month.

Steps have been made to try and improve relations between the Gunners' owners and supporters after the proposal of an advisory board to promote "meaningful consultation" between the two.

However, this is unlikely to be enough for most fans who still view KSE as having not shown enough ambition during their time in charge of the club.
