Monday night was one to remember for England as they hammered San Marino 10-0 in their final World Cup qualifier ahead of next year's trip to Qatar.
Harry Kane scored four first-half goals to help Gareth Southgate's side into a 6-0 lead with Tammy Abraham, Bukayo Saka, Tyrone Mings and Emile Smith Rowe helping to add a lot of gloss to the scoreline.
It rounded off a great week for Smith Rowe, whose first international break with the senior squad led to a debut against Albania, a first start against San Marino and a first goal.
The Monday night match also marked another special occasion, with Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher coming off the bench at half-time to make his senior debut.
Gallagher has been one of the stars of the Premier League this season with his energetic presence during his loan spell in Patrick Vieira's Crystal Palace side earning him plenty of plaudits.
Chelsea and Thomas Tuchel will be thankful that they still own the 21-year-old ahead of the upcoming transfer windows. After making his debut, Gallagher spoke to the official England Twitter account.
As he walked from the field with his England cap in his hands, Gallagher was asked whether he would have thought earlier in the week that he would be making his senior debut.
"No, I didn't," he said, before the interview was interrupted by a grinning Smith Rowe.
"Well played. You're a legend," the Arsenal man can be heard saying before giving his teammate a pat on the back.
"Congrats on the goal," Gallagher responded.
Smith Rowe then ended the interaction by saying: "Congrats on the debut, you deserved it."
Gallagher's strong start to the season has brought with it four goals and two assists, including an excellent display at the Etihad Stadium as Palace beat Manchester City 2-0.
However, despite his form, Gallagher admitted he did not think the senior chance would come his way so soon.
"Because I was with the [under] 21's, I thought no I'm not going to get my chance," he continued.
"But I was fortunate enough to get a call from Gareth which was amazing. The feeling was unreal. To be on the pitch today with the England team is just the best feeling in the world.
"I'm just buzzing, to be honest."
