Roy Keane has questioned the standards of Manchester United following their 1-1 draw with West Ham.
For the second home game in a row, the Red Devils were booed off by the Old Trafford faithful as Soungoutou Magassa’s equaliser in the 83rd minute earned the Hammers a point.
The result means Man United missed the chance to move up to fifth in the Premier League table and level on points with title-chasing Chelsea.
Having broken the deadlock just before the hour mark thanks to Diogo Dalot’s strike, the hosts lost control of the match and Keane was particularly frustrated with how the United players let the game drift away.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Keane was additionally left baffled as to why players were given standing ovations upon being substituted.
He said: "You can't relax in this game when you're 1-0 up. It was the substitutions when players were walking off. Every player at Old Trafford now gets a standing ovation.
"What are the standards at the club? Where are the standards from? Is it from the top, the players?
“Even the fans, the fans are cheering everything these days.
“Where’s your standards? Where’s your demands on the club? Where’s your expectations?
“You’re 1-0 up and you’re waiting for something to happen. Get your top players on the ball, make it happen and get the job done.”
Man Utd return to action next Monday night as they visit a struggling Wolves side who are yet to win in the Premier League this season.
