Sheffield South East General Election 2019 results in full

Voters in Sheffield South East have gone to the ballot box to elect their MP in the General Election 2019.

A new Member of Parliament is being elected for the constituency, which includes the wards of Beighton, Birley, Darnall, Mosborough, and Woodhouse.

The sitting MP before the election was Clive Betts, who has held the seat since it was created in 2010.

It voted to leave in the 2016 EU referendum.

Polls closed at 10pm on Thursday December 12 with the vote expected to take place overnight.

Results:

New MP is Labour Clive Betts.

Breakdown:

Labour: Clive Betts - 19,359

Conservative: Marc Bayliss - 15,070

The Brexit Party: Kirk Kus - 4,478

Liberal Democrat: Rajin Chowdhury - 2,125

The Yorkshire Party: Alex Martin - 966
