What are the odds Giants actually sign Tom Brady?

It seems almost surreal to still be talking about this, but those in the know up in Boston continue to insist there is at least some level of possibility that quarterback Tom Brady ends up with the New York Giants in 2020.

He won’t. We know he won’t. But the conversation continues to persist anyway.

On multiple occasions this month, Boston area reporters and radio personalities have suggested that Brady to Big Blue is very much in the realm of possibility and that those around the NFL “shouldn’t sleep” on that potential end.

But what are the odds of Brady signing with the Giants this offseason? That’s a question our friend Kyle Madson over at Touchdown Wire pondered, and the result — to some degree — may surprise you.

Madson gave the Giants better odds than 21 other teams, but that essentially amounted to a 0.01% chance.

11. New York Giants

Taking a big paycheck from the team that beat him twice in the Super Bowl just to be terrible and drive them into the ground and blame it on age would be an all-time elite petty move.

Chances of signing Brady: 0.01 percent

However, the Giants were the very first team on Madson’s list with anything above a 0%, so that would indicate at least some level of belief that such a scenario could play out.

Interestingly, Madson gave the Dallas Cowboys a 4% chance to sign Brady this offseason, while the New England Patriots led the way with a 93% chance to re-sign Brady and put all this wild speculation to bed.
